“Will they even show up?”

They did, twice. “It is very hard these days to find a company that will even show up let alone get to your job quickly and complete it in a timely fashion and do it right the first time.”

Evan K · Palmetto client review

“I can’t commit to a colour.”

Greg can help. “They were all very patient with me and helpful as I had trouble committing to my color choices. Greg managed the project closely to ensure quality.”

Jan K · Palmetto client review

“What about the mess?”

Prep comes first. “They took time to prep the home to minimize the clean up and prevent any damage to the home.”

02 / What we paint

Inside, outside and everything the salt air touches.

Five services, one owner. Every job starts with Greg walking the house with you and ends with a follow-up visit for touch-ups.

03 / Colour, before you commit

Same house. Three answers.

Colour is the hardest decision in a repaint and the easiest to get wrong on a two-inch chip. Greg looks at samples on your walls, in your light, beside the brick, the roof and the trim you are keeping, before anything is ordered.

  • Haint blueThe Lowcountry porch-ceiling blue. Reads soft on siding in afternoon sun.
  • Charleston greenNear-black green on shutters and doors; the classic foil for any body colour.
  • Rainbow Row pastelsCoral, butter and sky on the East Bay houses. Bolder than a chip suggests once it is on a whole wall.

04 / The owner. The preparation.

Great color.
Real craft.

A beautiful finish starts well before the first coat. It starts with looking closely, talking honestly, and knowing who’s working on your home.

The right conversation starts with your home.
Do you offer free painting estimates?

Yes. Start with a free quote. Greg Bores is the initial contact for estimating and scope, and the process begins with an onsite discussion of your project.

Which areas do you serve?

Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Isle of Palms, Sullivan’s Island, Daniel Island, James Island, West Ashley, North Charleston, Goose Creek and Summerville. Share your project address with Greg to confirm service availability.

What affects the cost of painting a house?

The surfaces included, their condition, access, preparation and the finish you choose all influence the scope. Interior rooms, exterior siding and cabinets need different estimates. An onsite conversation is more useful than a generic square-foot price.

Can you help me think through paint colors?

Yes. Bring your ideas and samples to the project conversation. Consider them beside the finishes you are keeping and in the light of your home before making the final choice.

Who will I hear from during the project?

Greg Bores. Palmetto is owner-operated, so Greg handles the estimate, the scope, the work on site, updates during the project and the follow-up.

Can I include cabinets, a deck or pressure washing?

Yes. Palmetto lists cabinet painting, deck painting and staining, and pressure washing alongside interior and exterior painting. Mention every area you want considered when requesting your estimate.
